We’ve launched a new Student of the Term initiative! The aim of the awards is to recognise, reward and celebrate students’ achievements from across our campuses.
For our Autumn term awards, we received more than 120 nominations from our curriculum colleagues. It was then down to our Head of Student Experience to make the difficult decision of choosing just one winner for their campus.
Students can be nominated for a whole host of achievements. It could be for excellent attendance and achievement, going above and beyond, or giving something back to the college and/or their community.
Each winner received a personalised letter of congratulations from our Principal and CEO, Janet Smith, a £10 Amazon voucher and a £5 college Food for Thought café voucher. Their photo and words from their citation will be framed and proudly displayed at each campus, so keep a look out!
Autumn winners are:

- Basford/AMC: Ace Crawley
- City Hub: Charlie Edwards
- Highfields/London Rd: Abbie Murden
- High Pavement: Evan Lord
- Ruddington: Chloe Marriott
There will be three rounds of nominations each year for the Autumn, Spring and Summer term.
