Who we need
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Administrator Apprentice (Level 3) to join our Quality Improvement Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their administration, data management and business support skills whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification. You will play an important role in supporting the College's quality assurance and quality improvement processes, helping to ensure that our students receive an outstanding learning experience.
You will have excellent attention to detail, enjoy working with data and systems, and be confident managing a variety of administrative tasks. You will be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team and will be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. Most importantly, you will be committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism, accuracy and confidentiality.
What does the role involve?
As a member of the Quality Improvement Team, you will provide administrative support that contributes to the effective monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of quality across the College.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the administration of quality assurance and quality improvement processes across the College.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, trackers and electronic filing systems.
- Assisting with the collection, validation and reporting of quality-related data and performance information.
- Supporting quality reviews, audits and compliance activities through the organisation of documentation, meetings and action tracking.
- Producing reports, dashboards and routine performance information to support decision-making.
- Providing administrative support for meetings, including arranging schedules, preparing agendas, taking minutes and monitoring actions.
- Managing enquiries from colleagues and stakeholders via email, telephone and other communication channels.
- Supporting quality improvement projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the learner experience and organisational performance.
- Maintaining high standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Working with a range of College teams to support the successful delivery of quality objectives and improvement plans.
Apprenticeship Information
This role includes studying towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship alongside your day-to-day responsibilities.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will receive dedicated learning and development opportunities, including:
- Off-the-job training and study time.
- Regular reviews and one-to-one support with your assessor.
- Opportunities to develop skills in administration, data analysis, communication, customer service and continuous improvement.
To be eligible for the apprenticeship, you must meet the funding requirements, including having the right to work in the UK and meeting residency eligibility criteria.
