This Level 1 Business Course provides an engaging and practical introduction to the modern world of business. Designed for aspiring professionals, the course helps you build confidence, develop essential skills, and understand how businesses are created, run, and succeed in today’s fast-paced environment.

Through interactive lessons, real-world activities, and hands-on challenges, you’ll explore key aspects of business while developing valuable workplace skills.

College Certificate

You’ll need four GCSEs at grades 3–2 (D–G), or a relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification, including English Language and Maths at grade 3–2 (D–G). 

You will also be asked to sit an initial assessment. The initial assessment must show that you are ready to study English and Maths at Level 1. If you results are lower than this, don't worry, we will find the right course for you.

At the heart of our Level 1 Business Course is a dynamic and interactive approach to teaching that ensures students not only understand key concepts but can also apply them in real-world scenarios.

Our teaching methods encourage active participation and holistic development, providing students with opportunities to learn through:

  • Practical Role Plays
  • Presentations 
  • Projects
  • Class discussions and Activities 

While you will  be assessed across a variety of tasks designed to reflect their understanding, creativity, and ability to apply business concepts.

We aim to build confidence and skills through regular progress checks, one-to-one guidance, and peer reviews. With this varied and inclusive approach to teaching and assessment, every student will have the chance to shine, regardless of their preferred learning style.

Choose to follow with a Level 2 course in a subject such as Business or Administration, or you could go into a junior role in industry.

Students aged 16-18 don't have to pay tuition fees.
