This course is ideal if you’d like to improve your English and maths before progressing onto a Level 1 course in a range of work-related (vocational) areas, supporting career pathways for your future. Reinforcing that attendance is paramount, we are committed to helping you stay on track and achieve your goals.

You’ll develop your English and maths skills through a variety of engaging methods, incorporating both individual and team work. Tasks can range from creative and practical projects to interactive and independent work, all designed to enhance your learning experience.

We will invite you to undertake an initial assessment and will be looking for a result of Entry Level 2 or 3.

If the initial assessment results are lower than this, it may mean you are suited to a different course but, don't worry, after your initial assessment we'll always clearly explain all your options.

You must be aged 16-18 to apply for this course.

Assessment is continual through coursework folders and Functional Skills assessments.

Choose to follow with a Level 1 course in a specialised career area of your choice or employment.

Students aged 16-18 don't have to pay tuition fees.
