This course is perfect if you if you would like a full-time course but are unsure of your career path or exactly what you’d like to study.

You could gain skills in and sample several industry areas, such as:

  • Care
  • Retail
  • Sport
  • Business
  • Catering
  • Travel and tourism
  • Construction

You’ll learn different vocational/trade areas and develop your employability skills while building your personal and social development, confidence, self-esteem and your English and maths skills.

We will invite you to undertake an initial assessment and will be looking for a result of Entry Level 2 or 3.

If the initial assessment results are lower than this, it may mean you are suited to a different course but, don't worry, after your initial assessment we'll always clearly explain all your options.


Assessment is continual through coursework folders and Functional Skills assessments.


Choose to follow with a Level 1 course in a specialised career area of your choice or employment.
