Course introduction
This course is perfect if you are struggling to help your child with their English and Maths homework and if you need to upskill yourself in your Maths and English knowledge.
Also, if your child is taking their SATs this year.
You will learn about:
- The key methods in Maths for multiplication, division, addition and subtraction as well as fun ways to practise Maths at home with your child.
- The language used in Key Stage 2 English, what it means and how to support your child to extend their reading and writing skills.
You can expect a fun 2-hour session without your child where you will build your confidence in Maths and English and feel more comfortable to help you child at home.
This is learning just for you to build your skills to take home to your child.
Course duration: 8 weeks
Location: Adams and off-site community centres.
