Course introduction
This course is perfect if you would like to develop your skills on a day long programme in Lino Printing.
This class is targeted at students who may have tried the process before but would like more time and support to explore the process and understand the technicalities.
Throughout the day you will learn a variety of techniques and processes in Lino Printing. Lino printing, also known as linocut, is a printmaking technique where a design is carved into a linoleum sheet, before being covered in ink and then printed using a printing press.
There are a variety of lino cutting techniques and processes to learn, such as multi block prints and jigsaw lino, both of which allow you to use different coloured inks and create multicolour prints.
You will create a range of different pieces of work which you can take home with you, either on the day or at an arranged later date.
