You're invited to our Adams Building Open Evening!
We are running Open Evening events in October, November and January 2027 across five of our campuses.
At our Open Events you’ll be able to:
- Hear about life at Nottingham College from the campus Assistant Principal
- Have a tour around our state-of-the-art facilities
- Meet our Tutors and Student Ambassadors
- Find out about our courses and information related to the college
- Drop in to the Student Services Marketplace where you can get advice about Maths & English, Careers, Enrichment, Wellbeing and much more!
- Discover our progression opportunities, from Level 1 all the way through to degree-level study

What to Expect?
Please aim to arrive a few minutes before your booking start time.
Check In: When you arrive, our friendly team will be on hand to scan your QR code tickets – these can either be scanned directly from your phone, or you can print them out
Welcome Presentation: Your evening will start with a short presentation led by our Assistant Principal to give you the full details about studying at Nottingham College – including what study options we have and what services are available to students.
Tours: Join a guided tour to see our state-of-the-art facilities, classrooms, workshops, social areas, and more. You’ll get a real feel for student life here.
Meet our Tutors and Current Students: Chat with your future teachers about the subjects you’re interested in. They’ll tell you what the courses are like and how they can help you reach your goals. There’ll also be Student Ambassadors who know what life as a college student is like.
Support Services Marketplace: Find out more about our student services and how they can help you get the most out of life at college. From enrichment to student finances, wellbeing and many more! Each area will have a stall with a member of staff ready to answer any questions you may have.
Refreshments: Our cafés will be open throughout most of the events serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and sweet or savoury treats.
Application Zone: Wowed by our amazing facilities and talented staff? You don’t have to wait until you get home to put an application in! Our Admissions Team will be on hand to help you with your college application in our Application Zones. Plus, the first 30 applications will receive a Nottingham College goodie bag.

There are bus stops a short walk away on Fletcher Gate and our Adams Building is easily accessible by the majority of Nottingham's bus routes.

- National Express - for a countrywide bus service.
All green and purple line tram services pass through the Lace Market tram stop, which is a 2-minute walk from the Adams Building, accessible via the St. Mary's Gate rear entrance.
