You're invited to our Basford Open Evening
We are running Open Evening events in October, November and January 2027 across five of our locations.
Students, parents, and visitors will be able to:
- Attend a Q&A session.
- See/tour our facilities.
- Meet our tutors.
- Find out about our courses and information related to college.
- There will be a market place area featuring student finance, careers, student enrichment.
- Discover our progression options, from Level 1 all the way through to degree level study.
Q&A session
All Open Evening events will have a Q&A session running approximately every 30 minutes.

Basford is serviced by numerous major bus routes heading out of the City Centre and into other areas of the city.

- National Express - for a countrywide bus service.
The purple line Phoenix Park/Clifton South tram service stopping at the Cinderhill tram stop is less than 10 minutes walk from the back walkway entrance of our Basford campus (located on Babbington Drive, off Bagnall Road).
An alternative tram route is the green line Hucknall/Toton Lane service stopping at the David Lane tram stop, with a 20 minute walk onto Stockhill Lane and the main walkway/entrance road into our Basford campus.

- Bulwell Train Station is approximately 8 minutes away by car or taxi.
- Hucknall Train Station is approximately 20 minutes away by car or taxi.

Car parking is available for which parking charges are £4.00 per day and £2.50 for 4 hours of parking (half day). There are parking machines on site or you can pay using the RingGo app.
Parking charges apply Monday – Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. After 4:30 pm parking charges do not apply.
