Wondering what to do with your next 2 weeks off? We’ve put together a list of things you can do that cost under £25. From an Insta worthy autumnal day to haunting mazes after dark or anything in between, here’s some ideas of what you could get up to this half term!
Nottinghamshire ‘Pick Your Own’ Pumpkins
You could head over to Oaks Lane in Southwell to pick your own pumpkin from 19th – 31st October!
With free entry, parking and pop-up eateries serving food, sweet treats and hot and cold drinks it’s the perfect autumnal afternoon out with plenty of cosy photo ops.
Halloween Outdoor Cinema at Wollaton park
At Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, Adventure Cinema are bringing an outdoor cinema experience to celebrate the spooky season. Fancy dress is encouraged but make sure to bring a chair or blanket so you can sit back and enjoy the shows they are playing.
From Friday 25th – Monday 28th October, they’ll be showing: The Lost Boys, Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Scream (18+). Tickets are £15.50 and you can book them online!
The Labyrinth – Backwood Terror, The Hillbilly Harvest
This Notts Maze is not for the easily scared and is running from this Friday 25th - Monday 28th October.
The Maze is located at Whitley Farm and holds spooky stories of the Whitley Family but beware, the maze is designed to scare! Tickets cost £20 per person and must be pre-booked to enter.
Sundown Sessions at Go Ape
Go Ape! at Sherwood Pines will be open late from October 19th to November 9th. If you're seeking adrenaline-filled activities, this is the place to be.
Enjoy treetop adventures with your friends, light displays throughout the forest, and the chance to observe night time nature. Tickets are available starting from £23.
