We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable Community and Family Learning Teachers to join our growing team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire children and families, build confidence and support lifelong learning within local communities.

Working flexibly across schools, children's centres, nurseries and community venues, you will deliver creative, inclusive and high-quality learning sessions that encourage participation, strengthen family relationships and promote positive educational outcomes.

About the Role

As a Community and Family Learning Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging learning sessions for children and families in schools and community venues.
• Deliver a range of family learning programmes that support early years, literacy, numeracy and wider learning.
• Create safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments where every learner
• Build strong partnerships with schools, community organisations, parents and carers.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners and communities.
• Work flexibly across multiple locations, responding to local priorities and programme needs.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records in line with funding and quality requirements.
• Promote equality, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding in all aspects of your work.

Who we're looking for

Applicants must have:

• A minimum Level 2 qualification in both Maths and English.
• Experience of working with children aged 2 years and above.
• Experience of planning or delivering engaging learning activities for children or families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage a flexible workload across a range of schools and community settings.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding learning experiences for children and families.
• An understanding of safeguarding and the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

It would be advantageous if you have:

• A recognised teaching, training or early years qualification.
• Experience of delivering Community and Family Learning programmes.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or primary education.
• Experience of working with parents and carers to support children's learning.
• Access to your own transport and the ability to travel between venues as this role will be based across different locations in Nottingham.
