Job description

Business Administration Apprentice (Level 3) opportunity with Mapp’s Mortgage & Insurance. Gain hands-on experience in administration and customer service within our General Insurance team while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in a supportive family-run business environment.

  • Mapp’s Mortgage & Insurance is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join our General Insurance team as a Business Administration Apprentice (Level 3).
  • We are a small family-run firm offering a supportive environment where you can learn, develop valuable workplace skills, and gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Working Week:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
    30-minute lunch break
    Total hours per week: 37.5

Wage:

  • Competitive apprenticeship wage (in line with government guidelines)

Expected Duration:

  • 18 months

About the Role:

  • As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day operations of our General Insurance department. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning how to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining efficient administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the General Insurance team
  • Handling incoming calls and emails professionally
  • Assisting with customer enquiries and policy documentation
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Supporting insurance applications and renewals
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time role within Mapp’s Mortgage & Insurance. There may also be opportunities for further training and career development within the company and wider financial services sector.
