Course introduction

This course is for absolute beginners at throwing on a pottery wheel, who would like to join us for a few hours to have a go at creating some ceramics.

You will learn how to work on a pottery wheel, from centring your clay, to positioning your hands correctly, to throwing a pot. You can then select one piece that will be glazed by a technician, fired and prepared for collection after your class for you to take home at a later date.
