Course introduction

This course is perfect if you want to learn all the skills to develop Games, understand the development process and mechanics for storytelling, and prepare for a future either in the games industry or creating your own games.

UAL Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology: Games Design

You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grades 9–3 (A*–D), including English Language and Maths – one of English Language or Maths must be grade 9–4 (A*–C). Functional Skills Level 1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE grade 3 (D) and Functional Skills Level 2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE grade 4 (C) or above. 

You will produce a portfolio of work for continuous and ongoing assessment throughout the year through games related projects. 

Choose to follow with Level 3 courses to develop knowledge and experience within the games sector. 

Students aged 16-18 don't have to pay tuition fees.
