Course introduction
This course is perfect if you want to improve your knowledge and skills in data analysis. It will support students in a number of sectors and job roles where an understanding of data analysis is required.
You will develop the knowledge, understanding and essential skills that employers look for in an employee such as, teamworking, independent learning and problem solving.
You will learn all units:
- Introduction to Data Analysis
- The role of a Data Analyst
- Collection, processing and preparation of data
- Interpretation of data
- Communication and presentation of data

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Data Analysis
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you must be aged 19+ and you may find it helpful if you’ve achieved an Entry level 3 qualification in Maths and ICT. You will need to have an electronic device with access to the internet.
The course assessment is conducted through internally developed and evaluated assessments. All participants will be evaluated on their knowledge and understanding throughout the duration of the course. To achieve a passing grade, all learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be satisfactorily met.
Students who achieve this qualification could also progress to further learning for those studying in sectors such as, Business Administration, IT, Media, Marketing, Retail, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, HR and Recruitment.
