Course introduction

Lashes have come a long way! For centuries, women have tried to enhance and beautify their lashes. These days a trip to the salon is an easier and longer-lasting solution.

In this unit you will learn how to select the correct lashes for your client, and master the techniques of applying and layering long, thick, luxurious lashes for a show-stopping look!

This course is ideal for anyone wanting to add semi-permanent lashes to their treatment list.

You will learn:

  • How to plan for lash extensions
  • Client care and communication
  • Health and safety
  • Contraindications
  • How to apply lashes
  • How to remove lashes

You will work on real clients.

If you have not recently achieved a relevant Health and Safety qualification you may be required to study this during the course at an additional cost.

Course information

Level 3 Award in Lash Extension

You will need to attend an interview and undertake a dexterity test and be aged 19+. You must have a good level of English as you will be required to complete two written assignments.

You will be assessed through a combination of practical observations and written assignments.

You could progress to other beauty therapy courses.

You will be required to purchase a kit and uniform. The costs for these will be discussed at interview.

If you have not already completed the Health and Safety Unit you will be required to undertake during the course at an extra cost of £40.70.
