Thrive: Join us to explore your potential, develop new knowledge and skills to take your next step in life. 

Ready to build your confidence and future? 

This is an exciting opportunity for 16-21 year olds who are currently not in employment or education to join in a Personal Development Programme that will help you understand and achieve your goals. 

If you live in North Nottingham (Basford, Bestwood, Bulwell, Bilbrough Broxtowe, Berridge or Aspley), or south Nottingham (Clifton East and West), this is your chance to take the next step! Gain hands-on experience, meet new people, learn life skills, and discover what you’re capable of - all in a supportive, friendly environment. 

What can you expect? 

We can support you in identifying your barriers, help you overcome them and give you the practical solutions to help you move forward in life. 

You’ll take part in exciting, practical sessions designed to help you grow in confidence and develop skills ready for your next step into education and/or work, for example:

• Personal growth and resilience: learn to manage stress, solve problems, bounce back from setbacks, and build a positive mindset for your future.
• Team-building projects: build and decorate a bird box with friends and family and join teamwork challenges to boost communication and trust.
• Healthy cooking advice: learn to cook affordable, nutritious meals and use real-life budgeting and maths skills.
• Learn about different jobs, develop skills and understand what the right path is for you. This will include using new and exciting digital, music and gaming technologies.
• Careers and employability skills: write your CV, practise interview skills, meet local employers, and take part in mock interviews and workplace tasters.
• Community and celebration: plan and deliver a community action project and invite family and guests to your final showcase event!
