This course provides essential training for gas engineers on the energy efficiency requirements outlined in Part L of the Building Regulations. It focuses on the principles and practices that support sustainable heating system design, installation, and maintenance in domestic properties. Completion of this module is a mandatory component for engineers seeking ACS certification and Gas Safe registration.

  • Understanding Part L: Explore the scope and objectives of Part L, including its role in reducing carbon emissions and improving energy performance.
  • Efficient Heating Systems: Learn how to select, install, and commission heating systems that meet energy efficiency standards.
  • Controls & Best Practices: Understand the use of thermostats, programmers, and TRVs to optimise system performance.
