Course outline

This assessment tests gas safety competence in installing, commissioning, exchanging, disconnecting, servicing, repairing and breakdown domestic central heating boilers and water heaters.

The types of domestic appliances covered by this training includes:

  • Central heating and hot water boilers
  • Circulators
  • Open and balanced flue
  • Combination boilers
  • Instantaneous water heaters with a heat input up to and including 70kW
  • Storage water heaters
