Course introduction

This course is perfect if you are eager to learn about plant-based cooking, sustainable cooking practices and healthy eating.

You will learn: 

  • Vegan versions of classic dishes.
  • How to make your favourite foods plant based.
  • Preparation and cooking methods for plant based diets.

You can expect hands on practical lessons with an experienced chef lecturer and the chance to make new food, which is yours to take home at the end of the session.

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be aged 19+.

You will receive verbal feedback from your chef lecturer.

You could go on to do further part-time courses or even a full-time course at Nottingham College.
