Worried about something? We’re here to help

College should be a fun and exciting place where you can learn new things and make friends. But sometimes, life can feel a bit tough, and that’s totally okay. At Nottingham College, we’ve got a team of friendly people called Wellbeing Mentors who are here to support you.

What’s a Wellbeing Mentor?

Wellbeing Mentors are kind, understanding adults you can talk to if something’s bothering you. They’ll listen and help you figure things out in a safe, private space.

You can talk to them about things like:

  • Feeling sad, anxious, or stressed (especially around exams)
  • Problems at home or with friends
  • Bullying or feeling unsafe
  • Struggling to come to college on time
  • Money worries
  • If you’re caring for someone at home
  • If you’ve lost someone close to you
  • If you’re unsure about your identity or how you feel
  • Anything else that’s on your mind

Nothing is too big or too small. If it’s bothering you, we want to help.
