Thinking About College? We’re Here to Help!

Starting college can be exciting—but also a bit scary, especially if you’ve been learning at home. At Nottingham College, we’ve got loads of support to help you settle in, make friends, and feel confident about your next steps.

Here’s how we’ll support you:

Your tutor is your main go-to person. If you’re unsure about your course, feeling nervous, or just need someone to talk to, they’re here to help and guide you.

These tutors are around all the time while you're at college. Whether you're having a tough day or need help with something personal, they’re here to listen and support you.

Not sure what you want to do in the future? That’s totally okay! Our careers team can help you explore your options, set goals, and figure out what’s next. They’re super friendly and know loads about different jobs and courses.

College isn’t just about lessons, it’s about having fun too! Our Wellbeing Team runs clubs, trips, and cool activities. They also look after the Wellbeing Hub, which is full of tips and advice to help you feel your best.

If you ever feel worried, stressed, or just want someone to chat with, we’re here for you.
