Hospitality and catering qualifications can take you all over the world and we will help prepare you for an exciting career. The sector offers a range of interesting jobs in a variety of settings including restaurants, bars, hospitals and hotels.

You will be taught by high class lecturers and tutors at Nottingham College who have industry experience and you’ll benefit from our high quality facilities and resources.

If your passion lies in food, you can train in our award-winning gourmet restaurant in our Adams Building and in our U Choose Food Court at our Clarendon Campus.

Legendary chef Marco Pierre White is a big supporter of the college and often meets students. You’ll also get the opportunity to take part in trips and maybe even national competitions.

Our courses will give you a full insight into what it takes to work in catering at high-end functions in world class venues. We also provide the training needed for employment within a larger scale food production environment. You will develop a full understanding and the required skills for working both back and front of house, which will confidently lead you into the workplace.

Hospitality Supervision and Leadership (Level 3) - Full-time

This course is perfect if you have a passion for food, enjoy cooking and looking develop your basic skills as a chef.

Cake Decoration (NCFE Level 1) - Part-time

This course will enhance your skills in decorating cakes.

Food Safety in Catering (HABC Level 2) - Part-time
